I finally got around to starting Christopher Moore’s Fool, published a year ago. Bad Cat. I can’t recommend this book highly enough, and I’m only 10% into it. Just like he did with Lamb, he takes another classic work (King Lear) and tells the tale from the perspective of “What If?” Here, the minor, brilliant character of The Fool in KL is rounded out to Moore-ish perfection as Pocket.
